Resources
We asked the Media Learning Company at City College Norwich to produce resources for us that could be used by education providers to help young people understand the push and pull factors that relate to exploitation, the signs to spot for themselves and others and where to get help and support.
They produced four films with accompanying assets, which can be downloaded below. These films discuss unhealthy relationships, child criminal exploitation, serious violence and drug use. They are aimed at children aged 11 and above.
Draw My Life - three animated short films (around 3 minutes each) tell the story of Emily, her best friend Jakob and her mother Rebecca, as Emily is exploited by someone she believed she was in a relationship with:
The Maze - a ten-minute film about a teenage boy drawn into a gang, using a maze to demonstrate the push and pull factors of being drawn into an exploitative relationship that leads to drug trafficking and serious violence.
